Friday, at ESPN Stadium of Orlando, for their second match in the CONCACAF Championship U15 girls, our young Grenadières have inclined without demerit face the powerful American team [1-0].

In the first period, our young Grenadières have proved combative throwing on all balls and harassing US to whom they imposed their pace, while preventing them from accessing their goal.

However in the off time of the first period, the US enjoyed a slight confusion in the Haitian defense to register a goal [1-0]

After the break, far from being discouraged, our Grenadières have shown more offensive but failed to break the solid American defense, even if sometimes this happened near.

The final score was unchanged, but this defeat without shame for our girls, closes the door to the quarterfinals. Came especially to teach our young Grenadières prove that by redoubling efforts a qualification to a final phase of the World Cup is not utopian.

Despite the disappointment, our girls hope well finish off the tournament with victories against Trinidad & Tobago (Saturday, August 13) and the Dominican Republic (Monday 15 August).
